absolutely necessary

Campsite had faulty 30 amp breaker, so I used this to feed my trailer from the 50 amp service. It would have taken way too long for a repair to reach my state park campsite.

A great product

I own a car that came with a voice-activated GPS, and I loved the GPS feature. But it lasted only 3 years, and resubscribing was going to cost a fortune (more than $700.00 for 3 years. We have been using our cell phone GPS systems for a while, and they are OK, but among other things, the screens are small, and their GPS behavior seems unpredictable, often at inopportune moments. After pairing the Garmin DriveSmart 65 with my cell phone to get key voice activation features I am impressed and very pleased with it large (7in.) screen, ease with which it was trained to my voice, and accurate guidance (I did update the maps). We'll be using it in each of 3 vehicles.
