Disintegrated after a year

I used this once and then stored it in my deck box. No chemical or light exposure, but Texas heat to be expected. Went back to use it starting up my pool this year and it was in pieces. The blue body crumbles under slight pressure. Not sure what they made it of, but it wasn't the right choice.

Good for the price, but just a basic design. Not very effective for scraping the bottom of a pool.

Overall it's fine as far as a cheap aluminum hoop attached to a stick with a bag hanging off of it goes. The problem is really when compared with what I've been using where the aluminum ring along the front is bent at a 45 degree angle and the plastic lip is designed to help leaves actually get into the bag off the bottom of the pool. This one really can't compare as far as ease of use.

Works great so far. Worth it if you can get a good deal like I did;

So far I'm very pleased with this unit for my current Hunter fan, although it remains to be seen if it will work with the newer DC fans I plan to put in my new house. Range is good although I need to try relocating further away to determine just how far I can go. The biggest down side for me was the full retail price, which is a bit excessive, but if you can get it on sale it's worthwhile.
