Wouldn't recommend to recording engineers
There is virtually no noise cancellation, which I thought would be good for recording a vocalist, but the metronome or track from the headphones bleeds into the microphone at an unacceptable level.
The sound of the headphones is ok, the high end can be somewhat brittle and the low end is almost nonexistent. So while they're not ideal mixing headphones, they at least provide a different, interesting perspective. I've never heard headphones quite like it, and that's a nice change of pace. They would make a nice second pair of headphones.
