At $400, it's a steal of a system.
2 of 2 found this helpful I compared this systems' price/specs to everything I could find & nothing touches it for the money. It actually works pretty well. A few of drawbacks though ... There is a tiny bit of system noise (faint wavy lines, color distortion) ...The instructions of how to change the ports settings for port forwarding (for remote viewing) and which ones are critical is almost non-existent. The plastic on the cameras seems flimsy, I have no idea how long they will last once exposed to heat/cold/UV/moisture ... There is no way to defeat the infrared night lighting if the camera is used to view through a window ... that means a huge glare and is worthless at night. Also, it's really, really picky about using extension cables for distances over the included 60' cable. Spend the bucks and get one without a connector. Lastly & worst of all ... all the support appears to be outsourced ... That means communication issues, and they NEVER know the answer without putting you on hold for a "few minutes while they look up the answer". They're not very well trained at all. They are polite, if not very helpful. Since Lorex/FLIR doesn't actually build it, I can't say I'm surprised. What should be a five minute resolution, will take an hour ... literally! On the positive side, the night vision works exceptionally well compared to any system I've seen for even twice the money. Very impressive. The mobile software is a little slow to log-in, but once it does, it works really well. You really need a tablet for remote viewing when you have more than four cameras. Even with a Samsung Note phablet, the images with over four cameras is so tiny to be useless. The picture quality is a huge improvement over even 720p systems. I just don't see anything remotely competitive with this system within hundreds of bucks. Even with the few problems/complaints I've had, I'd buy it again.

Best bang for the buck
It should be the first item your get for your new DJI drone. Fits perfectly. Holds batteries, props, chargers and a few accessories. A bit of an issue getting the controller in, but it will go if you angle the antennas and remove the phone holder. The case itself is light and includes a DJI drone foam cutout that I put on top the drone for further protection. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.
