LD Systems MAUI 5 Ultra Portable Column PA System with Mixer & Bluetooth (Used)

Pleasantly Surprised!!

Paid musician here doing full band, duo, and solo gigs around the city. I researched several tower PA's and landed on this one as the reviews were excellent and it seemed to be the best bang for my buck. Out of the box, this PA was exactly what I was looking for. Connected to bluetooth in seconds and was loud and clear! Played a solo acoustic/vocals gig and was blown away by how light it is, how easy it is to set up, and how loud and clear it was handling my Taylor acoustic and my vocals. I even brought it in place of our 400lb+ set up (monitors, subs, mains, and all necessary cables) for full band gigs, and my vocals and guitar overpowered the drums and bass, it was perfect for the smaller venue we played. I'd recommend a second system if you play anything larger than 150 people. The only downsides so far is that there are no onboard effects (reverb, delay, or EQ), and only enough inputs for one instrument and one mic so any more than one person, you'll need an external mixer. I love this system, I was sick of carrying my old setup up and down stairs, so I'm pumped to sling the tower case over my shoulder and grab the sub and my guitar and head into gigs. Completely satisfied!
