A solid unit that has worked for years with great battery life
Two basic uses for this: 1) an invalometer for astrophotography, 2) a remote shutter release for my copy stand.
As an invalometer: I can set up the camera and telescope on a cold winter night, let it run for 30 minutes to an hour in freezing weather, re-align the scope to another object, let it do another run, repeat for as long as I can stay awake. The remote has no problem with sub-freezing weather and the battery has lasted for years.
As a remote shutter release for my copy stand: allows me to turn pages in whatever I'm copying without having to reach up to trigger the shutter release. Occasionally I'll get a double trigger, but it's only about 1% of the time.

Two good books and one that doesn't belong
I bought this primarily for Pyramids ( it was cheaper than the book by itself ). Small Gods is also a good and funny novel and fits well with the gods theme. I don't think Hogsfather really fits with the other two and leads to a weighty volume that is almost 2-1/4" thick in hardback.

Super bright, but you'll need a heat sink
Power supply shipped is actually physically smaller that the one that is pictured. LED COB (100W) is very bright, but you'll need a heat sink to pull off all the heat that is generated at full power.
