A life-like real scale model of the NASA Mars Curiosity Rover, with many details and appropriate science.
The LEGO CUUSO #005 is the LEGO IDEAS official edition of the NASA Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), or better known as the "Curiosity" rover. Launched on on November 26, 2011 it still works today, exceeding its lifespan. The lLgo model is a perfect scale model and is very educational to build. The booklet contains not only building instructions, but some comments on what part of the rover you are building, and what that instrument does. This provides educational insight into the science behind the design. This piece is not really a toy, but rather for the adult Lego enthusiast.
It is not as complex as the earlier Lego "Opportunity" rover, and much smaller, but this one is very easy to build, not like its predecessor. I attached photos for size comparison. Not that this means the curiosity rover is small. (The Lego Opportunity is really big.) Nevertheless it is a little strange as in real life the Curiosity is bigger than the Opportunity.
The only thing I didn't like in this scale model, are the original wheels it comes with. It is the appropriate size, but doesn't look very space, so I actually replaced them with new mars rover wheels from the 2019 Lego City Mars Rover (60225), which are slightly bigger, but give a much better appearance. (See photos attached.)
Overall it is an excellent collector's piece for NASA LEGO collectors. I strongly recommend buying it.

High quality collectible medallion with true historical value recommended for any space collector.
I think like all official NASA edition commemorative coins and medallions, this 50 years Gemini 4 limited edition piece is well worth buying for any space enthusiast. It is made from high quality materials with an attention to detail, and credibly contains some material from the original spacecraft. I can only recommend it to any space collector.

First commemorative medallion with space flown material, a must have collector's item.
This was the first Manned Flight Awareness medal made and contains metal flown on board the Apollo 8 mission to the moon and back. Minted by Barco Mint of New Orleans, production was limited to 200,000 medals. The commemorative medallions were cast containing a small fragment of a piece of aluminium that was carried around the moon by astronaouts Frank Borman, Jim Lovell and Bill Anders on their historic flight. The piece of aluminium was given to NASA's Manned Flight Awareness Office for processing into these medallions. It was presented to NASA employees who helped to make this mission a success by Frank Borman.
This is a piece of American space history, and the very first commemorative medallion with space flown material, so it is a must have collector's item.
