Beautiful table protection
Very nice, just thick enough, cork-backed placemats that both protect the table, and add a wonderful note of color and pattern to our breakfast room! Also easy to clean.

Comprehensive but repetitive
Always glad to read more about one of my favorite authors. One of my middle school teachers read to us from some of his books, and I was hooked--eventually bought all of them, and the biographies as I found out about them. This is a pretty good read; but the author repeats things a lot--like he's padding the word count, or just not well edited.
