Great value for money and a real time saver.

As the slimline, lightweight (by 2010 standards) X200 laptop has no optical drive and not many expansion ports, this Ultrabase is a very handy device to have sitting on your desk. After a hard day out in the field, recharging the battery is made so simple by just dropping the Thinkpad into the base. The DVD drive works well and it does everything I require. That's the main reason I bought it. In the office, I have several peripherals attached via USB, so the Ultrabase keeps those connected at all times. No longer need to attach and disconnect a dozen cables everytime I move the X200.

Great book to solve antenna problems or just to experiment!

A great resource for anyone wishing to deploy the simplest - or the most complex - wire antenna for any application. You could probably use Google to learn about a lot of the designs in the book, but having it in print and all in one place is a bonus. For the price, it was definitely worth buying online and keeping it in easy reach on the bench or in the travel bag.

Great solution for making your own bike racks

I used a bunch of these to build my own bike carrier rack to mount on top of my trailer. We took the whole thing camping with 6 bikes mounted. These are a great solution for making your own rack and securing bikes for travel or storage.
