Best 1996-1998 SN-95 Mustang GT 4.6L kit out there, but might be difficult for new builders.
This is a very accurate kit as a 1998 Mustang GT owner. This is absolutely the best Sn-95 Mustang kit within the 1996-1998 range. 1994-1995 kits are out there, but usually feature the 5.0 engine and have the wrong tail lights (plus those model years had atrocious wheels). This kit however, has the correct tail lights and 4.6l SOHC V8 for me to build a model of my exact car!
Mold quality looks average to above average. Details are well represented, typical AMT thick plastic and flashing, some cleanup will be needed but this will make a nice model in the end.
I expect typical AMT fit issues, which as a skilled modeler are not a problem for me to clean up, but be aware that this might make this kit a bit of a challenge for a beginner. I'm sure they could build it, but things might not fit quite right without cleaning the parts up.
