Poor quality gear wheels

Cards do get shuffled but it is extremely loud and the small gears that turn to expel the cards are plastic and break with little use. I have owned two of these now and have had the same problem with both. Bought the second one thinking I had done something wrong when the first one broke but the second one did the exact same thing. Shame really - I play cards on a weekly basis with an 85 year old man and I got it for him so I didn't have to shuffle for both of us. With a better mechanism these would be fantastic!
