Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes
I first heard of this book when our church presented a memorial to the hiroshima bombings and the book was read. I was so touched I had to have a copy for my family, it is a sad but beautiful story that resonates to all peace loving people.
If you read Sadako's story, make sure you have some tissues nearby.
