Expensive piece of plastic, but fit well
I bought a used washer/dryer set that had been stacked by the original owner. The dryer had the adjusting feet removed and the washer had this piece of plastic trim removed to allow the dryer to sit on top of it. Of course, the original owner did not have the adjusting feet or the plastic trim piece but the price was good on the 2 appliances. I sourced the adjusting feet from Lowe's (generic - $7), but the trim piece was a different story. I would have been happy without the trim piece, as it has no other function except as a styling element. However, the wife had given me the "furrowed brow" look which translates to me searching the world to find this elusive, magical piece of plastic, and then paying whatever it cost to maintain domestic harmony. It fit well and was worth every penny.

Good replacement pump
3 of 3 found this helpful I used this pump to replace a worn-out pump (main bearing failed) on a compressor that I have used for 25 years. This new one was not exactly the same dimensions as the original, so I had to modify the compressor (mount) to accept this one. But this new pump out-performs the old one (even when it was new). I also had to change the the motor pulley (and the belt) as this new pump uses a 4L V-belt and the original used a flat, ribbed belt. I had to calculate the correct motor pulley diameter based on the rpm's and procure a v-groove pulley of the correct size. I broke-in the new pump for 30 minutes with no load and then changed the oil. I have about 2 hours on it now and it kicks butt. With regular oil changes, hopefully it will last another 25 years.
