Fun and Brutal Game
Great game! While the graphics can't compare with modern triple A titles, for it's time they were amazing. The controls are slipperier than any other Mario Kart I played, which can drive me insane at times, especially on the Donut Plains and Vanilla Lake levels, but overall it feels great to play. The game is also much harder than all the future titles as you have 3 lives in one round of Grand Prix, and if you don't place in the top 4 at the end of a race, you lose a life and have to retry that course again. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the Mario Kart series.
