Excellent Substantial Santoku
This is a substantial knife good for heavy cutting and chopping. Even though it is an inch shorter than the 8 inch chef knife it is thicker and heavier making it great for tougher foods like carrots. Most of the Shun knives are known for their thin profile making then great slicers, but this one makes a great chopper.

Nice Value Sheath
This is a nice sheath. The stitching is good. The snap is good. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to the lightweight leather. To be fair, a heavy-duty leather sheath would sell for twice what I paid. If you really are a Hobo and intend to carry the Hobo Knife everyday, I believe this sheath would not hold up well. If you will use it on the occasional camping trip, it would be fine and is a good value.
