The Music Man - very apt title
One of the best musicals ever and far superior to later remakes that skimped on the music by omitting some tracks.
Robert Preston was 72 when he made this movie and it doesn't show.
Fascinating music - most songs are a divarication of the main theme "Seventy-six Trombones".
Tyhe movie brought back memories of a simpler time before mobile phones and political correctness.
