Works for training but it's expensive.
Despite the expense, I bit the bullet because other training approaches to "no" weren't working. I found it on sale & bought the system & it works. It scares them when they jump up on places they aren't supposed to be & after a couple of scares, they don't jump up there anymore. I don't like scaring them, but it's more like startling them than anything. They just don't want to be startled again, so they avoid the place they were startled before. So, it works. And it only took a few sprays until they learned. We've triggered it more than they have because we forget we've armed it . . . or it triggers when we arm it . . . but, it works. No smell. No mess. Just trained cats who won't jump up on places they aren't supposed to.
