Salvage motorcycles - good deal?
0 of 2 found this helpful Be extremely cautious when buying salvage bikes.. Although it may appear that you can repair for much cheaper than the cost of a resale, hidden issues such as broken motor mounts or a twisted frame are very hard to detect. Broken motor mounts on the engine may require a new engine. A new engine or new frame will likely end up costing you more than the project was worth. Best of luck.
