Rare NOS product, available just when needed

Rare NOS product, difficult to locate Appeared to be quality German-made Showed up just as I was trying to cobble together a "plumber's nightmare" combination of other hoses to replace the original hose.

Good seal quality, had to guess a bit on how to install

Appears to be very well-made, good sealing qualities Does a good job keeping moisture (and exhaust gas!) out of the interior. Could have benefited from some instructions or suggestions on how best to install it, what sort of adhesive/sealant might be good to use, etc.

Was original equipment OEM part Installed without a problem (which is saying a lot, when you're talking about these older-style VW latches) Was worried because of its "used" status, but it is still "like-new" functional.
