Chinese Nat. Baseball Rises
An engaging look into the infancy of the Chinese National Baseball. China will someday have a powerful program if they sustain the intitial support chroinicaled in this movie. A good historical documentary that gives an entertaining behind the scenes peak into the building of the program. The tribulations of the american coaches are fun to watch. The movie seems to be cut short by not following the team through the 2008 Olympics. It leaves the viewer hanging - the only disappointment in an otherwise good documentary.

Same as the old ones
1 of 1 found this helpful Pretty decent stuff. Much like the CWS movies of the past few years. If you enjoyed them, you'll enjoy this one, particularly since Fresno St. defied all odds. This is essentailly a highlight reel of the CWS games.
What is lacking are some interview clips with players, coaches and fans as the Series progresses. The movies of several years ago has some of that and better captured the flavor and excitement of the Omaha experience. The movie could be much more entertaining if it featured some of the players personal perspectives. Freseno's great story lines are absent, but in spite of the lack of any depth, worth watching Fresno-yes! win it all.
