Solid Design, Long Lasting and Reliable
Old fashioned electro-mechanical design hasn't changed in many years, but it is solid design, long lasting and reliable. This replaced an almost identical timer (the motor has changed) which has been operating 24/7 for 55 years. I expect to get another 55 years with this one.

Excellent
It's only a simple lens cap cover, but it is genuine GoPro and an excellent fit.

It’s a little quirky, but it does the job
It is an outstanding value and it does the job. However, it is not self powered; it gets its power from the telephone line. Therefore, it may not work correctly if there are several other devices (analog telephones, digital telephones, answering machine, caller ID displays, security & temperature alarm devices, etc.) connected to the same telephone line or it may cause some of the other devices to not work properly. I am using all of the above devices on my line and had several issues which seem to have been solved by moving the Phone Defense Call Blocker away from any of the other devices. That means all of the telephones ring even when an incoming number is blocked. That’s an inconvenience.
It didn’t work with an older Princess telephone and the Princess phone didn’t work with it. Also, it displays the number of an incoming call, but not the name associated with the number. That’s another inconvenience.
