Little Monster Sound- Reviewing the AKG D880

I have been a professional sound engineer/bassist for 4 decades now, and I'm still totally into performing on both sides of the mic. Quite a few years ago, I put the D880 up against a SM58, and, I must confirm, you can REALLY notice the superiority of the D880. At the same settings it was clearer, cleaner, more articulated, with just-as-good feedback resistance. I've used nothing but D880s on vocals ever since, and I am very happy with the results!!!

TE 2x10

I bought this cabinet because my Ampeg practice amp pooped on me... I've got a Mesa/Boogie Bass 400 head, but my 6x10 Mesa cabinet was just too big to haul up and down my basement stairs. This cabinet works and sounds excellent. and I'm sure that it would work for most clubs also. I'll probably use it for smaller places where stage space is tight. Plus. the price is right too!
