Not as good as a generation 8.

I previously had a 7th or 8th generation and found it to be far superior to the generation 10 in all aspects. it was cheaper to buy, easier to turn pages, much easier to load and had a larger screen. In short, I am most disappointed in the 10 and wish I had bought a 7 or an 8 to replace the one I lost which also had a back light. Am I missing something here?
