Quality USB-C card with reasonable limitations
Quality USB-C 1x PCI-e card for an older machine. Compensates for the reversible nature of the USB-C plug by assigning a different set of USB lanes to each side of the socket instead of the the same lanes routed to both sides. So reversing the plug will cause your machine to say the USB-C device is plugged into a different port. As such, do not use in mission critical application's where the plug must always report the use of the same lanes such as a mission critical storage device remotely mapped. Charges iPhones at fast speed and syncs faster than USB-A plugs as expected. The real bonus is the additional USB 3.0 internal header since almost all mother boards only come with one sodered in place. Recommend you separately buy a SATA power extension cable to branch off the circuits to either your HHD's or CD/DVD drive. Interior SATA power is required for this card to function. Works in WIndows 10 without needing to load drivers.
