For me, not up to the task
Having tried one of the cheap and cheerful versions, which was useless, I decided to splash out on the "official" version. I wanted to protect the compartment from the mud and moulting of a couple of labradors. The fundamental issue is that the stud fasteners simply aren't strong enough to hold up the sides of the liner which collapse minutes after the mutts have been in situ. They're not pulling them off, they just come undone as the dogs move around. I might as well have just bought a rubber matt or some such since the compartment sides get little protection with this, in practice. If you're not going to load the compartment in such a way that the fasteners will pop off then it might work for you but it was hopeless for my purposes. An expensive lesson learned.

Looks the business
It arrived early and surprisingly, the real thing looked even better than in the photos. Very solid and heavy and now adorns our front porch. Am going to buy the squirrel to sit atop another ridge.
