35 ton log splitter
4 of 4 found this helpful I chose this 35 ton splitter due to the fact my neighbor bought a cheaper 20 ton splitter with a 5 horse power engine and it stalls on almost all of the logs he has tried to split. This splitter is a lot more robust, has an American built nine and a half horse power Kohler engine on it. It split the logs that my neighbors splitter would not split and did it, with a few exceptions, in the high speed mode. The engine never bogged down, starts on the first pull and runs quite and smooth. The fit, finish and appearance are excellent as well as the price. I would recommend the 35 ton model over the smaller ones since the price difference is so little. This is a great company to work with! Tom
