Installation on sport swivel steering
The screws that come with the kit are small for the openings on the flange. I used larger sheet metal screws so I didn't need to fight with the rubber covering and small openings and needing a wrench to hold the nut. I bored out an open hole for optional steering attachment on the top right of the unit and ran the cable thru this instead of drilling a hole in the dash, which would go right thru the rack system behind the dash if you follow the directions when putting the tilt switch on the port side. I couldn't reach the wires to hook up to behind the shifter, so I ran wires up from near the stern of the boat for easy connections. My boat is a HP deck boat and space is tight where the wires are run. It works better than expected and looks great.
