Cheap but adequate
It has a really nasty head ache inducing smell. Maybe it’s the lacquer or the treatment of the nylon on the sheath. Or both. It’s a real shame to have to leave this thing outside for a while to air out. The grind on the blade is a bit wavy and uncentered. The blade is too thick behind the edge. I can grip my palm really hard around the blade and it doesn’t feel sharp at all. The handle needs to be sanded and oiled. I like the sheath for what it is. It feels sturdy enough. At a glance it’s an okay reproduction. The blade is going to require a bit of work. But for the price, it’s a keeper. If you have a bigger budget, theres better options. But you can save some cash if you can accept imperfections. I could really do without the noxious smell though. Overall, it’s about what I expected for being the cheapest M3 repro.
