Didn’t work straight out of box. Had to update to latest firmware after extensive online research. Process was not intuitive. Works great now though

OK value. Kinda does what it promises...but should be better
I bought this bulb after having purchased another brand that cost about twice as much. It does what it claims. I ordered the 9W version, so it's nice and bright for my outside walkway/patio.
I don't think there was, in the item description, any dimensions of the bulb. So I was a tiny bit disappointed when I see that the bulb is larger than expected. It's just my estimation, but it seems like the bulb is about 15-20% larger than a typical bulb. Definitely larger than my other branded ones. This caused an issue for me: since the bulb is longer, the motion sensor bubble is below the edge of my wall sconce's glass dome, which means that the motion sensor is hidden inside of the metal enclosure holding the glass. This forced me to remove the glass dome so that the sensor can detect motion effectively. I'll have to order different smaller bulbs to use in these sconces, and find other locations for these bulbs.
Another issue that I've experienced is the range of the sensor. The specs indicated 4-6m (12-19 feet) range. What I've discovered is that the range of one bulb is about 4-5 feet. This means that the light, located about 8 feet high on the wall at the start of my stairway, doesn't turn on until I'm almost tripping on the first stair step. The other bulb's range was worse...about 2-3 feet. This one is also 8 feet high next to the door leading into the garage. So for this, from the main house, I'll have to walk about 20 feet in the dark until I can grab the door knob of the garage door before the light activates.
Maybe there's a perfect use for such a bulb with a small range...I'm trying to find a spot in my house/yard for such a use.
Maybe there's a range adjustment? I have to look and report back
