Wrong Compatible Model On Package
This does NOT work properly in my Remington 760 pump rifle. The spring in it is simply too strong as it pushes up another bullet. This in turn causes jams in the chamber. I found this out at my local rifle range a few days after I got it. I waited a few more days then decided to take it to a gunsmith (who I can reveal for verification in the future). He said right off the bat that this clip is for a Remington 7600 pump rifle looking at the plastic bottom of the clip. He then tried this clip and of course it jammed up on him too. He then took out my old broken spring clip (with a metal bottom) and "beefed up" the broken spring using a Savage spring clip and attaching it to my broken spring and it works perfectly now. I know the package that I happened to throw out before I went to the rifle range, believing that the clip would work because my rifle model was written on the package itself and was an authentic Remington clip.
