Great Reel
This is my first DC reel and I'm impressed. Coming from an old school caster that never liked any mag control reel and removed the centrifical brakes off my baitcasters, skipping baits has always had a long long learning curve for me. Not anymore! There are a few better skipping reels out there but this one gets the job done as well as giving a great bang for the buck. Highly recommend

Blows my $1000 Kirby OUT OF THE WATER. Awesome Value Awesome Performance
This DC23 was bought to replace my wifes 10yo Kirby Ultimate. The Animal blows the $1000 Kirby away. I was very impressed with the Hepa filtration and the fact that the DC23 has three times the suction of the Kirby. The Animal is very light, easy to control and just plain works great.
