Best Strap Lock
I have tried various strap locks over the years and I have found The Dunlop Dual Design Straplok to the best of the bunch. Nice secure locking mechanism which doesn't rattle unlike the another main propriety brand. I particularly like this dual design version which allows use of a standard strap if you happen to forget your strap with the locking mechanism. Just make sure lock is fully engaged.

Omega Badass Style Bridge
I have always replaced stock Fender bass bridges with Leo Quan Badass Bridges. They are far better built, give great sustain, are far more stable and can easily be retrofitted without any modification (damage) to Fender basses. I was really disappointed when Leo Quan stopped production. So I recently bought an OMEGA bridge which seems almost identical to my Badass Bridges The OMEGA unit is very well built (and far more reasonably priced than Badasses were). BRILLIANT - I will be buying more of these. Anyone with a Fender Jazz or Precision should fit one of these beauties.
