Has magnet switch aka hall effect sensor
Has magnet switch aka hall effect sensor. Also come with a magnet for the switch. Not a push button but still works the same and you can easily buy or make a switch. Awesome little counter. My only wish is that it came with a stand or something other than the mounting bracket. Still gets 5/5 in my book

Amazing little printer for dirt cheap!
1 of 2 found this helpful Once you get this printer built, square, and level you will be amazed at the quality. There are a few little cons like the fact its not a metal frame but its still really solid. I recommend doing a lot of research. Use reddit and the "Official Anet 3D printer Support Group (Inc RepRap Prusa i3 clones)" on facebook.
Sure this isn't the absolute best printer ever made but for it being under $200 I am amazed at the quality. Expect to spend closer to $250 though. You will need to upgrade the power supply IMMEDIATELY I recommend buying one the same day you order this printer that way you don't even use the stock one. The stock one is a fire hazard. You will also want to order a mosfet for the heated bed. Just look up "Anet A8 mosfet" and you should find one for $10 or so. You also might want to upgrade the linear bearings to "Igus-Drylin-RJ4JP-01-08 LM8UU Bearing" you need 7 of them. Also this comes with ABS filament you will want to order a roll of PLA. There are tons of youtube videos on this printer showing the upgrades you will want to print and how to build the printer. As for the kit part. This really isn't had to build it comes with everything you need. I do recommend getting some needle nose pliers, an adjustable crescent wrench, and a razor blade. I think the worst part about this kit is removing the paper from the plastic frame. The instructional video isn't that great since there is no audio or even music. Oh and you might need a hammer for the X axis rods. The build took me about 3-4 hours to do it alone but I wasn't trying to be quick. This kit can probably be built in 90 minutes. Getting it tuned in will take a while but its not too hard. I HIGHLY recommend this printer (if you get the upgrades) for getting your feet wet with 3d printing. This seller is very good at what they do and I actually got my package 5 days earlier than the original estimated delivery date but I think I just got lucky.

Not what I expected
1 of 8 found this helpful They didn't technically false advertise but THIS IS NOT TRITIUM ITS GLOW MATERIA. They intentionally named it to confuse people but the description does say its not tritium. Anyways it does put out good light for a decent period of time.
