Another Great Nature Documentary from the BBC
13 of 13 found this helpful First, let me say that I went out of my way to find the version of LIFE narrated by David Attenborugh. The version that aired on the Discovery channel was narrated by Oprah Winfrey and I could not watch it. The narration is so key to these types of documentaries and Winfrey is nowhere near the pro the Attenborugh is when it comes to narration.
I was dismayed that none of the local Best Buys sold the Attenborugh version so I bought it on eBay.
LIFE delivers great visuals but don't expect as many breath taking shots as were in BBC's Planet Earth documentary.
This series focuses on the animals, plants and insects around the world. As such, much of the time throughout the documentary is focused on tight shots of the subjects.
These shots are spectacular nonetheless and you will often ask yourself how they managed to get the shots at all. It is amazing to what lengths and dangers the camera crew will go to secure these shots.
I'd recommend this title to anyone who enjoys these types of documentaries.

Bought as a gift
Gave as a gift to a runner in my family. She used it running the next day and heard nothing but good things. She especially loved that it was so lightweight.
And of course the color got rave reviews.

Perfect Size
Needed a small size squeegee to fit in the pocket of my vehicle door to have handy and easily accessible for the mornings to clear windows of moisture. This one fit perfectly.
