Nice rugged scope
1 of 1 found this helpful There's nothing that I don't like. The optics are crystal clear and I love the reticle with numerous ways to estimate range. Turret "clicks" are precise. Turret knobs are secure and don't wobble around like some do. I like the illumination knob with an OFF setting between each value. This one's for my HK 91. I'll be purchasing another for my AR.

Does not fit the 870 Express without modification of existing tube
The tube on the 870 Express must be modified prior to the extension being installed. There are two
protrusions on the inside of the tube which need to be ground down flush with the tube walls. I did this with a dremmel tool in a few minutes. These little protrusions prevent the follower from allowing the extra rounds to be inserted. You would have to do this with ANY tube extension. Also, the 8 extra rounds mean that there are 7 in the tube with one in the chamber with 2 & 3/4 inch shells. One round less with 3 inch shells.
