The Little-Known Show That Fostered a Dozen Careers
Many critics have said that this short-lived 1996 comedy sketch show, which only lasted for seven episodes before ABC cancelled it, was ahead of its time. Like SNL, a lot of the humor was topical, but if you remember or know anything about the events of the time (the Bill Clinton White House, the 1996 Republican Presidential primaries, O.J.), even those bits are still funny as hell. Carvey, former SNL cast-member and star of Wayne's World, assembled a brilliant team of writers and performers who were unknown at the time, but you've heard of some of them now (Louis C.K., Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Robert Smigel). Others have names you still might not recognize, but they've written TV shows and movies that you know (30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Hotel Transylvania, Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, MADtv, Community, Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). If you like smart comedy and you'd like to see what many of the guys you like now were up to twenty years ago, you need to see this show.

This is the edition of _Never MInd the Bollocks_ you want.
There are dozens of different releases of this historic and ground-breaking album, but this is the one you want. Released in 1996, it includes two CDs. The first disc is the original album. The second disc contains all twelve tracks from the demo tape that Malcolm McLaren shopped around to get the band a record deal. These tracks also appeared on a legendary bootleg LP called _Spunk_, which appeared in UK shops about a month before _Never Mind the Bollocks_. Many fans, many critics, and McLaren himself say that _Spunk_ is actually the better album. The second disc in this set also includes three more early demo tracks produced by Chris Spedding and six outtakes from the _Bollocks_ sessions.
