Great little screwdriver kit

I use small screwdrivers for a variety of fiddly tasks e.g. the maintenance of my microscopes and, just this week, to change the button batteries in a desk calculator. Although I have several 'watchmakers' screwdrivers they don't always fit small set screws that well. This kit covers a wide range of common screw and bolt head fixtures and it's useful to have them all in one neat little pack. It's unlikely that I'll ever take a phone to bits with this kit but it's one of those that is invaluable when you need it!

Stunningly good lens!

I'm a (retired) professional biologist and have several hand lenses acquired over the years dotted around my house. The least I have paid for any of them is far in excess of the cost of these lenses. The triplet optics are as good as any of my existing lens collection and I am planning to buy more for a series of plant science workshops that I run for a local garden charity. In short - stunning, both in quality and cost!

It took three attempts to get the right colour temperature for our internal lighting, having tried Bamford's Day light and Cool white LEDs. Inevitably the 'right' temperature is a matter of individual preference and context, but Bamford were very accommodating in allowing us to return the ones we didn't think were right and giving a refund. These LEDs certainly feel to be of better quality than ones that I have bought from the regular well known Do-it-Yourself outlets, but time will tell.
