awesome
loaded up in 4,1 cmp flashed to 5,1. only 3 of 4 sticks were reading, did a pram reset and BAM this decade old machine is pumping out multicore scores faster than my maxed out 2016 mbp. need to order 4 more 8gb sticks! my ebay frankenmac is gaining consciousness!

Solid upgrade from the previous generation despite naysayers!
4 of 4 found this helpful Recently upgraded from my maxed out 2x 6-core 5,1. Upgraded the processor in here to the 2.7 12-core. Significant speed increase across the board and using an eGPU with a Sapphire RX580.
