Ice Pirates (VHS, 1993) BIG BOX RARE SCI-FI WITH FREE SHIPPING

Five Stars!

My friend, Myles, once ran into Robert Urich at LAX in the mid-90's. Apparently, they really hit off and spent the next 48 hours on some kind of insane bender. Eventually, Urich hit the bricks to go score some scag and Myles called me since he'd gotten Mary Crosby's phone #. She was pretty hard up for cash and agreed to meet us at Don Laredo's on Sunset for a few hours engaging in the "Devil's Triangle". Her face looked a little like a relief map, but she could still kick like young bronco. Urich eventually arrived to relieve us and we headed back to the airport for our next destination. I never did hear from either one of the "Ice Pirates" stars again (and I'm sure they'd deny it anyway), but Myles and I went on to write a screenplay for Jeffrey Katzenberg and eventually started a small business selling olde-time apple butter to tourists in small mountain town.
