Snappy trainers work.
This product is a great solution for keeping pets off areas where they shouldn't be! Whether it's the couch, the counter, the bed, WHATEVER, it works great. It takes the onus off of the owner for needing to be present to correct the dog. In fact, what they learn in that situation (because they are smart) is to be sneaky. So, they only do it when you are not there to correct. This gets it stopped. I've had a few who made it snap ONCE and that was the end of it. I've got a puppy girl right now who isn't THAT put off by it. (Brat!) Today I put TWO of them in the chair that she keeps getting into so that she can get on my desk! She snapped one, the other wasn't snapped. Progress, maybe!
