Remote died after 4 months

All the buttons didnt work when I got this but the channel, volume and on/off did so I kept it. It's 4 months later and the remote has completely died.

Doesnt work

Charger it doesn't work. When I out the phone in the base it says "Base no power" and doesn't charge.
