It's a great alternative to crutches
1 of 1 found this helpful Overall, it's been blessing to use compared to crutches. It rolls very smoothly and turns very well. The pads are good for sitting on. If putting into trunk or truck for travel, it works pretty good. While I am not trying to put this device in any negative column, as with almost everything there are flaws. When using the walker, naturally your center of gravity will be forward over the handle bar. This puts you at risk for falling forward when you hit a crack in the sidewalk, debris or uneven ground. The brakes are lacking because they do lock but after a little use it won't lock tightly anymore and my husband has not been able to adjust the brake. It's a bit heavy to be lifted into and out of vehicle so the user is not able to go anywhere without help to use the walker. It does break down in pieces easily if packing for trips. Just don't tighten screws too much guys or the gals may not be able to take loose.

Just what was needed
Wires seem heavy enough and coating is solid. I used contact spray when I installed on my golf cart. So far no corrosion.
