Superb little work
There are few complete volumes on the market that detail the rise (and eventual fall) of the New England Glass Company, but this one does exactly that.
The scholarship and research in the work in first-rate, and she provides compelling evidence from first-hand sources in the trade as to the over dependence of the Boston and Sandwich Company as being the maker of many pieces that they are generally credited with.
All in all it is a work that collectors of glass from this era should own.

Great calendar
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this for my 12-year old granddaughter who has been eyeing my 40 year calendar for quite some time. I've had mine for 25 years and wasn't willing to give it up. She can put this on her desk and use it for the next 50 years, month-by-month, day-by-day just as I have. Best of all she will always remember when she got it and who gave it to her.
The item is well made, attractive, and like its predecessors has so little that can go wrong. It's a great gift for a modest price - where else can you find an item that can be used every day for 50 years and won't wear out for only $30?
