Poor Manβs Alpinist?
At 40mm the watch wears very well. More field than dress watch (100m WR) but with a polished case and dark brown dress leather deployment style strap it can be worn as dress watch as well. Deep green sunburst face is really beauty and well done. 4R35 movement is accurate, hacks and hand winds. Just a great little durable watch that you will not find on every wrist. Actually probably more Alpinists circulating than this one.

Stunning watch with accuracy to match
1 of 1 found this helpful This an absolutely beautiful watch. The details are perfect from the deep blue face and white indices to the tuning fork second hand. Leather band is very good quality if a bit long. Watch is dead on accurate. Now one of my favorites!

Gevril Ascari - Great Swiss Made Value
Excellent value, solidly built, high quality case finishing and bracelet. Unique style - not a copy of another watch. Crown screws in/out smoothly. Applied numerals and hands have decent lume which lasts most of the night. Bracelet is quite comfortable and watch is well balanced when wearing. It is 43mm but does not wear like a large watch due to the carbon black (non-rotating) bezel. Very happy with this Gevril product.
