ultra light with best tone

I have some early 60's guitars that have a classic tone and have very light weight, so I've been experimenting modifications that reduce weight on other guitars. The aluminum meets the criteria and is sonically different from potting metal or brass. I put this on an sg with great results. slight change in tone as more open and less dark with out a bright shrill peak. Weight is considerably less as well.

For the price the quality seems sufficient.

Good for jyst leaving outtside on ya he deck. Pretty good workmanship. Could be a bit more heavy duty but for the price ok. Some flexing when teo adults are sitting together. Bench is a good width for two side by side. We’ll see how fade and chip resistant the fish is over time.
