Worked perfect.
Have a Samsung scx-4623 . Lid would not stay open on printer any more and then broke off. This is the left hinge with the spring to hold the lid up. Couldn't get the old one out until I saw where the little nub was on the new one, so I knew where to press in and the old one slipped out. Then new one just installed easily. Great printer and now works good again!
