Vintage electronic movement
It's not easy to find replacement parts for vintage watches, and electronic watches are especially difficult since they were a technological dead end. They lasted a few years and then quartz movements eliminated them forever.
Finding this ESA 9158 was a stroke of luck and it's brought new life to one of my favorite vintage wristwatches. The 9158 was one of the last electronic movements and certainly not the best one - but it works and it's more robust than many of its competitors.

Lord Elgin, still royalty in the vintage watch world
Lord Elgin was a premier watch in its day, and 59 years later, this watch still looks fantastic and keeps excellent time.
Anybody can crank out a boring quartz watch. To be fair, quartz keeps time with slightly better accuracy than a mechanical watch and they're vastly cheaper to manufacturer. They just have no soul. It's like replacing your dog with a robot.
A great mechanical watch, especially an American made watch like the Lord Elgin, are wonders of engineering excellence. This watch comes from an era where American manufacturing was the envy of the world. Those days are gone, but this watch lives on.

Great value and good quality.
Surprisingly good quality for such an inexpensive microscope. It's perfect for working on watches, jewelry or any small item where 20x magnification is needed. Generally speaking, you won't find binocular microscopes for this price.
