Great Brake Levers
When I first saw the drilled Tektro RRL brake levers, I thought they were an unattractive, ungainly and unholy combination of old and new style. I had a need for a more "modern" look- and these fit the bill. I've had the levers on for about a month and a half- what I saw as ungainly, I now see as fresh and kind of unique. The hoods are comfortable to hold on to, and the splayed out levers make it easier to reach them. The quick release is fantastic (I can get rid of the q/r cable hangers). I find that braking is easier because I can reach the levers easier. Once you get over the looks- you'll see and feel these are full-on class. Keep in mind they do change the look of an old bike. I would fully recommend these levers for any new bike or to "resto-mod" an older bike.
