Arrived DOA, Going back.
Nothing but trouble trying to find aftermarket Makita battery. Twice had orders cancelled because product defective before being sent. Sent a different one, and it arrived DOA. It is going back. May have to bite the bullet and get a genuine Makita battery.

Depends on use
I have smoked taillights on a classic car. This makes them a little dim. I wanted to brighten them up. Using halogen 1157 brightened up the taillights but not the brake light. The brake light is where I needed the brightness. I reversed the wires and the same result. I don't understand why it didn't work, but it didn't. Could barely tell if the brake light was on. Actually made it less safe. Still using plain 1157 bulbs for now.
