it's not black, not even close
It's a well-built piece and I glad to see that it was black because it fits my car's paint scheme but it's nowhere near black it looks more like a grayish blue color. So I had to coat it with primer and put two top coats on it.for that reason I gave it only three stars and if you are looking for black forget about it,be ready to paint it. I've done some reading and found this is an ongoing issue why don't they just paint the darn thing black problem solved

Check ring gap
I can't remember the last time I actually had to file ring ends on a common dirt bike because the tolerances were too tight. You would think something as common as a KX100 the rings would be ready to install but that is not the case. The ring ends for a new nikasil stock bore needed a minimum of .013 filed off.

Well built,needs slight tweaking
It is a well built piece with push loc fitting already installed.Problem I ran into is that I bought it as a direct replacement for procharger bov (Boosted Solutions states it will fit ProCharger flange) but the holes in the valve flange do not align perfectly with Procharger flange and because of that the screws will not seat.I had to drill the bov holes 1/16" larger and everything was happy.A bonus is that the Boosted Solutions black matches the Procharger black bov elbow.
